‘Kufar’, a new music video featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Manushi Chhillar was unveiled on Wednesday. It has been sung by Diljit, produced by MixSingh with lyrics by Raj Ranjodh. The song is part of Diljit’s latest music album, 'Aura'.
The music video features Diljit as he sings the song wearing slick outfits in different locations. Manushi enters at one point as she dances on the peppy tunes. The music video is filled with stylistic frames and flashy costumes worn by the duo. Diljit exudes his trademark simplicity with a touch of his Punjabi swag in the vocals. The music video is directed by Piyush-Shazia, who have also choreographed the steps.
Diljit was recently nominated for the International Emmy Awards in the category of Best Performance by an Actor, for his titular role as Amar Singh Chamkila in Imtiaz Ali’s musical-biopic. He was recently seen in the Punjabi film, Sardaar Ji 3, which was only released in International markets as it stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.
Diljit has multiple films in the pipeline. He is currently shooting for Imtiaz’s next romantic-drama, which also stars Vedang Raina and Sharvari Wagh. He will also be seen next in Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s Border 2, which is set to be released in theatres next year.
Meanwhile, Manushi was recently seen in Rajkummar Rao’s actioner, Maalik and John Abraham’s spy-thriller, Tehran.
