Raghav Juyal is currently on cloud nine after his energetic portrayal of Pervaiz in Aryan Khan’s web-series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The actor recently opened up about Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan’s reaction to comedian Samay Raina wearing a T-shirt with the quote, ‘Say No To Cruise’ at the show’s premiere last month.

Many saw the quote on Samay’s T-shirt as a cheeky reference to Aryan’s arrest in 2021 during a raid in a cruise ship. Raghav spoke about it during an interaction with Ranveer Allahbadia and said, “He showed up there wearing that T-shirt, and everyone is laughing. Aryan’s laughing, the crowd’s laughing, the whole place is cracking up. But of course, he can pull it off, that’s just the kind of person he is. We couldn’t do that even if we tried. He was roaming around the entire party flaunting that T-shirt proudly, showing it off to everyone.”

Raghav also shared how Shah Rukh reacted to it and said, “You know, for sir, everyone’s like his own kid. He treats them all like his son.”

Raghav also said during the interview that he was sceptical about doing the show earlier as he felt that his character doesn’t have a back story. “I told Aryan that I was not sure what to do with my part and he called me to Mannat after that. That was an unreal experience. I would just see that place from the outside and cut to me going in to say no to Aryan for the show. But I went to him and he said he has full faith in me and both of us would create this character together. That night itself I said yes.”

The Ba***ds of Bollywood was released on Netflix on September 18. It also stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor in pivotal roles.
