Arjun Kapoor’s sister and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Anshula Kapoor got engaged with her longtime partner Rohan Thakker in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. She took to social media to write a long note and share photos with Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun, Boney and others from the family.
Anshula wore a traditional ethnic wear as she donned an elegant purple colored lehenga. In the photos, she is seen sharing candid moments with Janhvi and Khushi, who wore stunning cream-coloured outfits. In another photo, she is seen dancing with Boney. She posted a photo with Arjun where the two are having a serious moment while in another, they are all smiles as they pose for a picture. Anshula also honoured her mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor by saving a seat next to her and placing her framed photograph there. Sonam Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya, Shanaya Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor were also present during the ceremony.
Sharing the photos, Anshula wrote, “This wasn’t just our Gor Dhana, it was love showing up in every little detail. Ro’s favorite words have always been “Always and Forever” - and today, they started to feel real in the sweetest way. His love makes me believe fairytales don’t just live in books, they live in moments like these.”
She added, “A room overflowing with laughter, hugs, blessings, and the people who make our world feel full. And then, Ma’s love…quietly wrapping itself around us. In her flowers, in her words, in her seat, in the way her presence could still be felt everywhere. All I remember is looking around and thinking: this is what forever should feel like.”
Anshula and Rohan met on a dating app in 2022. In July earlier year, Rohan proposed to Anshula in Central Park, New York. She is the daughter of Boney and his ex-wife, Mona, who passed away in 2012.
