Actor Ravie Dubey, who will be essaying the role of Lakshmana in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming mythological epic Ramayana, gave a peek of the film’s script via his social media recently. The film, produced by Namit Malhotra, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

Sharing the picture of his script draft and wishing everyone a Happy Dussehra, Ravie wrote a Hindi verse celebrating Lord Rama’s qualities, “The flag of religion is the name of truth; only your knowledge echoed in every particle; devotion, power, the house of knowledge; patience is rich, great quality, Ram is world victory. Our collective effort our sincere attempt and our only intent is to bring glory to lord Ram’s name Jai Sri Ram. Happy Vijay Dashami.”

The picture shows “Dharma” written on the script, which might be the name of the film’s first part. The script’s cover page also reads “Valmiki’s Ramayana”, which puts to rest any conjectures about on which text of the epic the film is based. It is written by Pathaan (2023) writer Shridhar Raghavan along with Nitesh.

Produced by Namit’s Prime Focus Studios in association with 8-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the two-part epic will be released in IMAX worldwide — Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
