Two days after its world premiere at IFFI 2025, held in Goa, John Abraham has shared the teaser of documentary Oslo: A Tale of Promise. The film, which has been backed by him, presents a heartwarming tale between a girl and her husky.

The short teaser opened with a quick montage of different animals, set against a voiceover saying, "Animals are a gift. They are more than human. Are we willing to open our hearts to them?"

According to the makers, "Oslo: A Tail of Promise is a deeply felt, non-linear documentary that traces the extraordinary companionship between a Siberian husky, Oslo and Pooja R Bhale, founder of the Protecterra Ecological Foundation. It is a story anchored in the belief that animals have always been our guides and that humans, in times of fracture, need their wisdom more than ever."

Upon its premiere, the documentary moved audiences at the festival. It captures how two beings find healing in each other. "The teaser is only a window, but even in those few moments, people can feel Oslo’s presence and Pooja’s truth. That is all I hoped for. This film asks us to pause, to listen, and to see life through another being’s eyes," said John Abraham during the teaser launch.

The documentary is directed by Isha Pungaliya and presented by John. It is a joint production by JA Entertainment, Protecterra Ecological Foundation and Vaanar Nirmit.
