

Adil Hussain and director Gridaran MKP were among the recipients of the top honours at the Yellowstone International Film Festival, 2025. The festival, which concluded recently, was held in Mumbai.
Adil won the award for Outstanding Performance in a Feature Film (Male), for his performance in Secret of a Mountain Serpent. The film was directed by Nidhi Saxena and premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, 2025.
Meanwhile Gridaran won the award for Best Director Documentary Feature (Indian) for Dalit Subbaiah – Voice of the Rebels. The documentary chronicles the life of the singer.
In a statement to the press, Anshika Singh, Festival Director, said “Yellowstone has always been about heart and this year, that heart beat stronger than ever. Curating this experience has been a privilege, and I’m grateful to our audiences, our mentors, and our partners who keep believing in the power of storytelling.”
