‘Baabul Ve’, a song from Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and R Madhavan starrer De De Pyaar De 2, was released by the makers on Wednesday. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, the track has been composed by Payal Dev and Aditya Dev with lyrics by Kumaar.
Picturised on Rakul and Madhavan, the song captures the tender bond between a father and daughter. Rakul’s character in the music video dedicates the song to her father (played by Madhavan) and sings for him just a day before her wedding.
Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 is a sequel to the 2019 film of the same name. De De Pyaar De revolved around Ashish (Devgn), a wealthy 50-year-old man who falls in love with Ayesha (Singh), who is almost half his age. However, their relationship is frowned upon by his family and his ex-wife, Manju (Tabu). The sequel continues the story of Ashish and Ayesha, who now takes him to meet her family.
Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg, the film is currently running in theatres.
