'Phurr', the first song from Kapil Sharma’s upcoming film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, sung by Honey Singh is scheduled to be out on Friday (November 14).
A teaser of the song was shared by Kapil on his social media. It shows him and Honey Singh grooving to what seems like a party song.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) was Kapil’s first film. While it was directed by director-duo Abbas-Mustan, the sequel has been helmed by Anukalp Goswami, who was their writer on the original. Anukalp has also written episodes of Kapil’s comedy talk show The Kapil Sharma Show.
The first poster of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 was shared by the makers on their social media handles on Eid this year. It features Kapil dressed as a groom, peeping from his sehra and looking into the camera in bewilderment. His bride’s face is covered with a veil and she can also be seen donning a sehra and doing an adaab gesture, suggesting that the wedding is either a Muslim or an interfaith one. “Eid Mubarak” is written on the poster. The film is scheduled to release on December 12.
The first film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon saw Kapil play Shiv Ram Kishan, who ‘marries’ three women without their knowledge after they threaten to die by suicide. He then tries to spend enough time with all of them, along with his actual girlfriend, while juggling from one floor to another in the very same building.
Since then, the comedian-actor has appeared in films like Firangi (2017), Zwigato (2022) and most recently, Crew (2024) where he played Tabu’s husband. Kapil currently appears in his comedy show The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix India.
