The release of the second season of The Viral Fever’s family-comedy series Very Parivarik, which was earlier scheduled on May 9, has now been postponed, owing to cross-border attacks between India and Pakistan.
The production house shared an announcement on their Instagram account which read, “Due to recent events and heightened national security, we at The Viral Fever are postponing the release of Very Parivarik S2.We stand with the nation’s sentiment and will announce a new launch date once normalcy returns. Earlier, the theatrical release of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s comedy-drama Bhool Chuk Maaf was also cancelled owing to tensions between the two neighbouring countries. The film will now have a direct-to-digital release. It will start streaming on Prime Video from May 16.
