As actor Brad Pitt's recent film, F1, opened to rave responses, celebrities have been sharing their theatre experiences and how they felt about the movie in general.
The latest to share their F1 experience is Hindi director and producer Karan Johar. While commenting that the film had "Familiar tropes, predictable beats and one liners you see coming a mile away", the film still manages to evoke "So much fun".
Karan added, "You can't stop yourself from reaching the edge of your seat or gasping out loud." He had great things to say about Brad Pitt's acting; he praised the actor, saying that he "seems to have approached the role in a self reflecting zen mode movie star swag! So effective and landed every beat!"
Despite being underwhelmed with the climactic beat, Karan said the adrenaline race and rush should not be missed.
Karan, who last directed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced Nadaaniyan, Akaal, Kesari Chapter 2 and Dhadak 2 last year. His upcoming production venture Sarzameen, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, will get a direct streaming release on JioHotstar on July 25.
