Salman Khan’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, often spills his words of wisdom. In interviews, he can be seen giving out his unique life philosophy. In his latest Instagram post, Salman said that he regrets not listening to his dad’s life lesson earlier but added that “it’s never too late.”
Salman shared picture of himself wearing a black Being Human T-shirt, along with the caption, “Present becomes your past, past catches up to your future, present is a gift, do right with it, mistakes repeated becomes a habit and then your character, don’t blame any one, no one can make you do anything that you don’t want to.”
“My dad just said this to me, it’s so true. Kash (I wish) I heard this earlier but never too late,” the actor added.
Salman’s last film Sikandar performed moderately at the box office and wasn’t lauded by the critics. The actor has been delivering a string of middling films. His previous releases Tiger 3 (2023) and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023) didn’t make much of an impact on the box office or on the cultural landscape.
On the work front, Salman will be seen next in Battle of Galwan, helmed by Apoorva Lakhia. The war drama is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China. The movie is set to hit the big screen in January, next year.
Talking about the project with PTI recently, Salman said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I’ve to give more time now (for training). Earlier, I would do it (train) in one or two weeks, now I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
