Ever since the 'kiss cam' incident at a recent Coldplay concert in Boston went viral on the internet, many have been posting their renditions of the event on Instagram. The latest to do so is actor Kartik Aaryan. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star shared on Instagram a video where he is eating chocolate at the same time as it gets recorded on camera. The text in the video says, "Fitness freak, Kartik Aaryan, caught cheating on his diet, at the Coldplay concert last night."
For the uninitiated, a camera placed at the aforesaid concert captured Andy Byron, the CEO of a company called Astronomer, hugging its HR department's head, Kristin Cabot. The inadvertent moment courted controversy regarding an extramarital affair between the two, leading to Byron's resignation from the company.
Kartik Aaryan is a fitness enthusiast, and he underwent a significant physical transformation for his recent film Chandu Champion. Kartik's parody video also contains the audio where Coldplay singer Chris Martin's made a comment in jest at the time the camera showed Byron and Cabot, suggesting that the two were having an affair. In the parody video, as soon as Martin said, "Look at these two," Kartik looked at the camera, spat out the piece of chocolate he was having, took a pair of dumbbells and started exercising. The caption for the video reads, "Almost got fired."
The video has elicited positive responses from Kartik's fans and well wishers, as well as other actors from Indian cinema such as Malavika Mohanan and Aparshakti Khurana. They have all responded with smiley emoticons, with some appreciating Kartik's creativity to make use of the trend.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan's upcoming projects include Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, opposite Ananya Panday. The Sameer Vidwans directorial, which hails from Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions, is scheduled for a February 13, 2026, release. The actor also has Naagzilla with Dharma Productions in the pipeline. Naagzilla is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba from a Gautam Mehra screenplay.
