Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram Stories to praise director Mohit Suri's latest film, Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The actor called it a “heartfelt” film and the best work in Mohit’s career. He also praised Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda for their performances as the film’s lead actors. The film marks Ananya Panday’s cousin brother Ahaan’s acting debut, whereas Aneet is known for her role in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don't Cry. Calling their performances “special”, Ranveer extended a heartfelt welcome to them to the film industry. Saiyaara is a love story between a musician (Ahaan Panday) and a journalist (Aneet Padda). The film also stars Alam Khan, Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola.

Saiyaara has reportedly earned over 80 crore in its opening weekend at the box office, surpassing expectations from a film featuring newcomers as the leads. Critics and audiences are crediting the film’s success to Mohit’s signature style of emotional storytelling and its music. The film's music has become immensely popular on social media, drawing comparisons to Mohit’s own Aashiqui 2.
