Aamir has known Gauri for 25 years but he got reconnected with her one and a half years back. Gauri is from Bengaluru and works currently at Aamir’s production house. She has a six-year-old son. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He got separated from Kiran in 2021.

In the same interview, Aamir also revealed that he will be starting work on Mahabharata in August. “It will be a series of films. It’ll be back-to-back. Because you can’t tell the Mahabharat in just one film. And you know, the Mahabharata is very dangerous. It’s again a story which is in my blood. No one can do anything about it. I need to tell it. So I’m starting work on it,” he said.

Aamir is currently basking in the success of his latest release, Sitaare Zameen Par which is doing well at the box-office. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film also stars Genelia D’Souza, and ten debutant actors, namely Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Meanwhile, Aamir will be doing a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj next which is set to go on floors next year. It is touted to be a superhero actioner.
