The explosive first look from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar was unveiled by the makers on Sunday. As it came out, speculations about the plot have been rife. The film is based on real events and the character of R Madhavan carries a look which matches India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.

As per reports, Madhavan plays Doval in the film. The NSA chief is known for his work in Operation Bluestar in 1988 as he infiltrated the Golden Temple of Amritsar and provided information about some Khalistani terrorists. It is also being speculated that Ranveer plays the role of Major Mohit Sharma, a shooter who had entered Pakistan and befriended terrorists as part of his covert operation. He passed away in 2009 during an operation in Kashmir. There is no official confirmation on this yet.
