The trailer of Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi’s Dhoom Dhaam was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The film is directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande.
The trailer opens with some gangsters entering the room of Koyal (Yami) and Veer (Pratik) late in the night, looking for someone by the name of ‘Charlie’. The wedding night of the newly weds goes for a toss as they run away in car chases and get involved in fight with gangsters. The trailer introduces Veer to be a frightened man while Koyal takes a lead in brawling with the goons.
Speaking about the film, Yami said, “Koyal defies the usual ‘bride’ stereotypes without being brash or bullish or anything you have watched on screen before. I am sure a lot of girls today will connect with her. I thoroughly enjoyed donning this role for Dhoom Dhaam.”
Pratik said in a statement, “I loved playing the role of Veer because it’s not your typical rom-com hero—he is relatable, vulnerable, and ends up in the most unexpected situations. Expect some serious laughs, chaos, and some moments that’ll tug at your heartstrings.”
Director Rishab Seth shared, “With Dhoom Dhaam, we wanted to explore love in all its messy, chaotic glory. This isn’t just a story about two people coming together—it’s about discovering how love can survive, and even flourish, in the most unexpected and unpredictable situations. Yami and Pratik bring such an effortless charm to their roles, making Koyal and Veer’s journey all the more delightful. We had an incredible time bringing this madcap adventure to life, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it on Netflix as the perfect celebration of love.”
The film is set to be released on Netflix on February 14.
