Actor Paresh Rawal took to social media on Monday to share a behind-the-scenes photo featuring Akshay Kumar from the sets of Bhooth Bangla. The actors were last seen together in Sarfira. The horror-comedy is directed by Priyadarshan and will mark Akshay’s reunion with the director after 14 years.
In the monochrome picture, Akshay and Paresh can be seen sitting on chairs, enjoying a break in between shots. Akshay is topless and showcasing his toned body as he sunbathes, while Paresh is in a kurta pyjama and wearing a toupee. “A Shining star enjoying Winter Sun at Jaipur with Mr FIT @akshaykumar on the shoot of BHOOT BANGLA !” Paresh captioned the post on X.
Paresh and Priyadarshan worked together last on Hungama 2 (2021), a sequel to the latter’s hit comedy Hungama (2003). For Akshay, Bhooth Bangla will be the seventh collaboration with Priyadarshan. The actor-director have previously worked on acclaimed comedies like Hera Pheri (2000), Garam Masala (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), De Dana Dan (2009) and Khatta Meetha (2010).
The film has been produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Akshay’s Cape Of Good Films and co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 2, 2026.
