The teaser of Paatal Lok season 2 was shared by the makers on Friday. The series, created by Sudip Sharma, will return for the second season with Jaideep Ahlawat reprising his role of the brooding cop Hathi Ram Chaudhary. Ishwak Singh will also return to the series. The show will also feature Gul Panag, Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Jahnu Barua in pivotal roles.
The teaser offers no footage from the new season and we see and ad like video of Jaideep getting into a lift. He is bruised and starts telling a metaphorical story of how a man killed a bug once and was hailed a hero. But soon enough his bed was swarming with millions of insects. The lift starts malfunctioning as Jaideep warns us about the bugs from hell.
Paatal Lok 2 will be directed by Avinash Arun. It starts streaming on Prime Video from January 17.
