Actors Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar will soon be seen together in a comedy film titled Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The film is directed by Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) and Khel Khel Mein (2024) director Mudassar Aziz and will release in theatres on February 21.
The film’s makers, Pooja Entertainment, took to Instagram on Thursday to share an announcement video for the film. In the brief video, a men’s shoe can be seen tied to two women’s jutis. “Yahaan pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai—kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai! (Love’s geometry is a bit twisted here, because this is not a love triangle but a full circle) #MereHusbandKiBiwi In Cinemas 21st February, 2025.”
As per a press release shared by the makers, Mere Husband Ki Biwi has been described as a "musical ride of relationships, chaos, and cackles.”
"Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a film that celebrates the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships. I have always been one for wholesome entertainers, movies that bring friends and families together, make them laugh, and give them something to talk about. That's exactly what we have aimed for with this film,” said Mudassar.
"It's lighthearted, relatable, and full of moments that will stay with you long after you leave the theatre. I was eager to cast it exactly this way and when the audience meets their characters, they will know just why," he added.
The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh through the banner Pooja Entertainment.
