Salman Khan spoke about his sleep schedule during a conversation with his nephew Arhaan Khan on his podcast on the YouTube channel Dumb Biryani. The superstar said that he only sleeps for 2-3 hours a day and manages to get 7-8 hours of sleep only once a month. He also opened up about the time when he was in jail and would get adequate sleep.

During the chat, Salman said that it is important to stay active in life and not become complacent. “I generally sleep for a couple of hours, and once a month, I get 7-8 hours a day. Sometimes, I sleep when I get a few minutes’ break between shoots. I can only sleep when I don’t have anything else to do. So, I slept nicely when I was in jail. I sleep when there is turbulence in an aircraft because there is nothing, I can do in such a situation,” he said.

He also talked about how people on social media indulge in giving motivational talks and advised youngsters to stay away from them. “On social media, everyone is giving some kind of lecture to you. But how do you know its for you? They want you to believe it’s for you. It is very important to know who is giving you the advice. Especially at a time when you want advice, you will only seek it from those fools who will give you what you want to hear. But its not you.”

On the work front, Salman will be seen next in AR Murugadoss’ actioner Sikandar which is set to be released in theatres on Eid this year.
