Recently, an announcement video of Vir Das and Kavi Shastri’s directorial Happy Patel: Katarnaak Jasoos was unveiled by the makers. The film is backed by Aamir Khan Productions and the video showed a glimpse of Aamir in the film, however there was no information on what character he is playing.
At a recent event, however, Aamir revealed that he is playing the role of Mona Singh’s character’s father in the film. “Happy Patel is coming in January. It is a comedy film. It features Vir Das and Mona Singh. Mona Singh is the one who played the role of my mother in LSC (Laal Singh Chaddha), now I am playing her father in Happy Patel,” he said.
The film features Vir Das in the lead and will also mark the return of Imran Khan on the bog screen.
Mona was last seen in The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Happy Patel is slated to release on January 16 next year.
