The makers of Param Sundari unveiled ‘Danger’, a song from Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming romantic-drama, on Thursday. It is sung by Vishal Dadlani, Parvati Meenakshi and Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The song seems to capture the spirit of a festive occasion where Siddharth and Janhvi are wearing ethnic clothes. The hook-line of the song comments on the red sari worn by Janhvi. The two are seen dancing in a different set of styles along with a bunch of others. It is choreographed by Jaani Master. The vocals by Vishal add an energetic quality to the song blending melodiously with the music of Sachin-Jigar as the lyrics by Amitabh lend a playfulness to the overall mood. The song ends showing a quick set of visuals from the film where Janhvi and Siddharth are seen in different shades.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Manjot Singh, Siddhartha Shankar and Inayat Verma in pivotal roles. It features Janhvi as a Malayali girl, Sundari while Siddharth plays a Punjabi guy, Param as the two fall in love. Speaking about her character in the film earlier, Janvhi said, “She is deeply personal to me. Her grace, quiet strength, and love for her roots resonate with my own South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala, surrounded by such beauty, I felt an emotional connection to her world that I hope the audience will feel too.”
The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and it was earlier set to be released in theatres on July 25 but was delayed. It will now hit the screen on August 29.
The romantic-drama will mark the first collaboration between Sidharth and Janhvi. Sidharth was last seen in the actioner Yodha (2024) and he also has the folk-thriller Vvan—Force of the Forrest in the pipeline. Meanwhile Janhvi’s Homebound was recently screened at Cannes. She was last seen in the espionage thriller Ulajh last year.
