‘Guzaara’, the first song from Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 will be released on August 18, the makers announced on Saturday. The song is composed by Salamat Ali Matoi, sung by Josh Brar and features lyrics by Jagdeep Warring and Kumaar.
The song is the Hindi version of the hit Punjabi song ‘Tera Bina Na Guzaara E’ which became a sensation on reels. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala joined hands with singer of the original Josh Brar, to recreate it for the film.
Josh shared a video of him singing some lines from the song and wrote in caption, “From my heart to yours, words I’ve never shared before. When Sajid Nadiadwala Sir and Bhushan Sir heard these unreleased lyrics, they really wanted them to be in Baaghi 4. Truly truly grateful to them @nadiadwalagrandson & @tseries.official for trusting me with this!”
Earlier, a teaser of the film was unveiled which gave a glimpse into the actioner featuring gory and hyper-violent action sequences involving all the actors.
All the previous instalments of the Baaghi franchises have been inspired from South Indian films like Varsham (2004), Kshanam (2016), and Vettai (2012). However, director A. Harsha told CE in an earlier interview that the fourth part will not be a remake. “It’s going to be grittier, with more raw intensity. Tiger’s character will undergo a complete makeover. We’ve reimagined his action sequences with extreme moves and emotions, which will be a new experience for the audience. Sajid (Nadiadwala, producer) has a keen understanding of scripts, and this is not a regular commercial film. We’re aiming for a darker, more intense vibe” he said.
With story and screenplay penned by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 is set to be released in theatres on September 5.
