Mrunal Thakur recently looked back at her filmography as an actor and made a statement about what she wants from it in the future. "If you look at it, there will not even be one film which is so unbearable," said the actor about her filmography. Mrunal also said that she aspires to have a track record without a single bad performance attributed to her. The actor's latest thoughts align with the views she shared in an earlier interview with The Times of India.
Meanwhile, Mrunal also spoke about what keeps her humble after being in the industry for around a decade and doing about 20 films. "There are many (factors to it). However, the most important thing is to cut the voices around you. Some people try to talk to you with a lot of love, but it could be a form of gaslighting," the actor revealed in a conversation with Instant Bollywood Podcast. She suggested that people can connect with her today because she is showing her true self in front and behind the camera. "I just try to live in the present and become part of the type of films that audiences can relate to. I want to be an actor who is also a human and is celebrated," she added.
Mrunal Thakur can be seen alongside Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan and Kubbra Sait in Son of Sardaar 2. The Vijay Kumar Arora directorial, a sequel to 2012's Son of Sardaar, hit theatres on August 1 and has grossed around 32 crore from theatres in India, according to data from Sacnilk.
Mrunal has multiple projects at different stages of production, including Dacoit in Telugu and Hindi as well as Pooja Meri Jaan in Hindi.
