Rakul Preet opened up recently on wanting to stay relevant in the industry as an actor for a long time and said that she wants to have longevity like Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu. Speaking about her journey in the film industry, Rakul said, “When I entered the industry, I just wanted to be a heroine and be on the big screen. When I started, people said that five to six years is the shelf life of a girl in cinema but things are changing. As long as you look good and work well, age is just a number. I want to aim at longevity, and I aspire to be like Amitabh Bachchan sir or Tabu ma'am.”
The actor was last seen in the romantic-comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. She is now gearing up for De De Pyaar De 2, which also stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan, and Ameeri, where she will be sharing the screen with Neena Gupta.
