
Actor Sikandar Kher is set to make his Telugu film debut with a dark comedy that is set to be helmed by a debutant director. Official announcement on the film is currently awaited.
A source close to the development shared, "Sikandar has been receiving a lot of appreciation for his recent work, and now, he is all set to explore South cinema. The project is a big one, and he will be playing a role that truly justifies his acting prowess. An official announcement can be expected soon. The film is a dark comedy and is being helmed by a debutant director”.
The actor, who is the step-son of veteran actor Anupam Kher, made his Hindi film debut with the 2008 mystery-thriller Woodstock Villa, directed by Hansal Mehta. Since then, he has starred in films like Game (2011), Players (2012), Aurangzeb (2013), Sooryavanshi (2021) and Monica, O My Darling (2022), among others.
Last year, the actor starred in the Hollywood film Monkey Man, which was directed by Dev Patel. He was also seen in Alia Bhatt’s Jigra.
