Salman Khan met Baahubali writer V Vijayendra Prasad for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2?

Salman Khan in a recent media interaction had said that there is a possibility for a sequel to his 2015 Kabir Khan directorial Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Now, an industry source has revealed that Salman has met Baahubali writer and director SS Rajamouli’s father V Vijayendra Prasad and it is being speculated that it is for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Vijayendra Prasad also contributed to the screenplay for the first part.

“Salman Khan has met V Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days back,” stated the source. “They have come up with an idea and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Moreover, there is a chance of possible collaboration between V. Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan. However, nothing has been finalised yet.”

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is considered one of the finest films in Salman's fiomography. It also bagged the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Film Awards. Moreover, Vijayendra Prasad is regarded as one of the most successful screenwriters in India and is the only writer to have contributed to several of the biggest films in Indian cinema. His notable works include Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali duology (2015–2017) and RRR (2022).
