Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar had a marginal increase in domestic box office collection on Day 2 of its release.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk.com, the film opened with Rs 26 crore on Sunday. This number bumped up to Rs 29 crore on Eid day on Monday.

As per the makers, the AR Murugadoss directorial has made Rs 105.89 crore worldwide in two days of its release.

The film’s production banner Nadiadwala Grandson shared the box office collection on their X handle. "Eid was special, only because of your love! We're truly grateful! Watch #Sikandar in your nearest cinemas TODAY! Book your tickets NOW," read the caption of the film’s poster which had the box office numbers written over it.

Sikandar has had a lukewarm opening at the box office and has been critically panned, with many calling it one of Salman’s worst films. Our review of the film read: “Salman, with his latest releases, delivers an ineffective performance that feels strange. One that is unpredictable. You don’t know in which bizarre space he will take a scene. While mourning the death of his wife, he will suddenly start humming ‘Ajeeb dastan hain ye’ and that too without any emotion, like somebody would do while doing a mindless chore, like lathering your face before a shave.”

The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Smita Patil, Sharman Joshi and Jatin Sarna.
