Shah Rukh Khan got mobbed by his fans at the Mumbai airport on Thursday morning as he was leaving to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA Awards 2024. His security seemed to have had a lapse as he got mobbed by a bunch of people around him as he was walking towards the airport gate.
In the viral video, Shah Rukh is wearing a black outfit and exits his car to enter the airport. Just as he does so, he is surrounded by some people around him. A security personnel blocks anyone getting close to him. He remains calm during the incident and enters the airport finally.
The IIFA Awards 2024 are scheduled to take place on September 27-28 at the Etihad Arena in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Shah Rukh is set to be the host of the awards for the first time in almost a decade. He will be joined by Karan Johar as the co-host. Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be performing at the ceremony.
