A new poster from Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s upcoming thriller Jigra was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. The film’s teaser trailer will be out on September 8. It is written by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala, who has also directed it.
The poster features Alia caressing the head of Vedang who is handcuffed and the two of them seem to be in a prison. This is the fifth poster from the film and each of them gave a different vibe about the tone of the film.
Jigra’s previously released announcement video suggested that it is about a sister who would go to any lengths to protect her brother.
It was reported this February that the film's shoot had been wrapped. Jigra was originally scheduled to come out on September 27 but it was later announced in June that the film would hit theatres on October 11.
It is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia’s Eternal Sunshine.
