Ahead of the re-release of the cult-horror film Tumbbad, a new poster from the film was shared by the makers on Friday.
The poster features a haunting image of an old woman lying entangled in dark, twisted branches, hinting at the sinister depths of greed that drive the narrative. The tagline on the poster reads, “Daadi, kahan hai khazana? (Grandmother, where is the treasure?).”
The film stars Sohum Shah in the lead and was directed by Rahi Anil Barve, with Anand Gandhi as creative director and Adesh Prasad as the co-director. Written by Mitesh Shah, Adesh, Rahi, and Anand, the film was produced by Sohum, Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah, and Amita Shah. Apart from Sohum, the film also features Jyoti Malshe and Anita Date-Kelkar.
Originally released in 2018, the film will be re-released in theatres on September 13.
