Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has made a total collection of Rs 486.9 crore in 19 days since its release on August 15, according to Sacnilk. It is expected to enter the coveted 500-crore in the next few days, a feat that no other Hindi film in 2024 has achieved.
The Amar Kaushik directorial has become the first Hindi film to have the biggest third weekend collection of Rs 47 crore. It has surpassed the third weekend collection of the Hindi version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which minted Rs 42.5 crore.
The film saw a jump in its collection over the third weekend, minting Rs 16.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 22 crore on Sunday. It is, however, a significant drop compared to the last weekend, where it collected Rs 33 crore on Saturday (Day 10) and Rs 42.5 crore on Sunday (Day 11).
Stree 2 is the latest offering from producer Dinesh Vijan's ambitious horror comedy universe which also includes films such as Bhediya and Munjya. It also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles.
