The trailer of Anupam Kher’s Vijay 69 will be unveiled on October 29, the makers said on Monday. The film is written and directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma for YRF entertainment. It also stars Chunky Pandey and Mihir Ahuja in pivotal roles.
The makers shared a new poster of the film which features Anupam as he rides a bicycle with Chunky looking at him in excitement and others cheering for him. The caption to the post read, “Inhone sapne zinda rakhe, phir sapnon ne inhe zinda rakha hai (He kept his dreams alive and then his dreams kept him alive).”
According to the makers, the film follows the journey of Vijay, a 69-year-old man who defies societal expectations by training for a triathlon and refusing to let age limit his ambitions. Speaking about the film earlier, Anupam said, “Vijay 69 is more than just a film — it's a testament to passion, perseverance, and the unshakable human spirit. It embodies the belief that age is never a barrier to pursuing our dreams, and every chapter of life offers the chance for new beginnings."
The film will be released on Netflix on November 8.
