A web series on the life of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is in the works, as per reports. Lawrence has been in the news recently for the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique and for issuing threats against Salman Khan in the past.
As per a News18 report, Jani Firefox Film Production house will soon release a web show based on the notorious gangster’s life and it will be titled Lawrence—A Gangster Story.
As per the report, the series’ first poster and the actor’s name who is going to play Lawrence will be unveiled after Diwali.
The media house reports that the Indian Motion Pictures Association has already approved the series title on Lawrence. The web series based on his life will reportedly explore his transformation into a dreaded gangster.
Amit Jani, head of the production house, reportedly said he ‘aimed to engage the audience with a dramatic and true-to-life story’. The producer previously backed projects based on true incidents, such as A Tailor Murder Story and Karachi to Noida.
