Jackie Shroff’s character promo video from Baby John was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. It features him in an intense avatar as he plays the antagonist. The film is directed by Kalees and also stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav.
The promo video begins with some extreme close-ups of Jackie’s eyes and facial features. He is shown to be smoking a cigarette and appears to be in prison where he stands in the middle of a sea of bodies which are implied to be killed by him. His face is revealed as he punches the mirror and it presents a shattered image of him. As this happens, he says, “Sher..Babbar Sher.” He dons a peculiar, thick moustache.
In the caption, the makers wrote, “Get ready to meet the darkness you never saw coming... The evil of Baby John! Babbar Sher is coming for you!”
Earlier, multiple posters of Varun were unveiled which gave an intense look into his character. Before that, a first-look video of the film was unveiled, which showed Varun in an action avatar.
Baby John is produced by Murad, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande. It will be released in theatres on December 25.
