A special screening of Alia Bhatt’s Jigra was organised by the makers on Wednesday. It was attended by Rashmika Mandanna, Karan Johar, Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor, Radhika Madan and others. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and also stars Vedang Raina.
Alia wore a black top and was seen posing with sister Shaheen prior to the screening. Rashmika wore a white T-shirt as she posed for the media. Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram after the screening and praised Alia’s performance in the film.
Earlier, Samantha had attended a pre-release event of the film where she praised Alia for her portrayal.
Jigra also stars Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor and Manoj Pahwa. It features Alia as a sister who goes against all odds to rescue her brother who is wrongfully imprisoned. It released in theatres on October 11.
