12th Fail ranks 1 in IMDB Top 250 Indian films of all time; Maharaja in top 10

Internet Movie Database (IMDb) recently shared its Top 250 Highest Rated Indian Movies of all time. The list is determined by users who regularly vote on the site.

The Vikrant Massey headliner 12th Fail is currently the top-ranking film on the list, with the recently released Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap thriller Maharaja ranking at 8. Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies, the country’s official entry into the Oscars, is at 23.

The oldest film on the list is Satyajit Ray’s classic Pather Panchali, released in 1955. With seven titles, director Mani Ratnam has the highest number of features on the list, followed by Anurag Kashyap with six titles.
