Baby John taster cut: Varun Dhawan gets a massy makeover in Kalees actioner

The feverish taster cut aka teaser of Varun Dhawan’s upcoming mass actioner Baby John was unveiled by the makers on Monday. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, the film also features Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rajpal Yadav, among others.

Sharing the taster cut, Varun wrote, “If this is the START, imagine the END, Baby. For now, watch Baby John Taster Cut.”

The almost two-minute teaser gives us several glimpses of the film. Varun Dhawan seems to be in two avatars, a crew-cut cop and a long-haired dad. Jackie Shroff’s menacing villain is also seen in the teaser. There seems to be a lot of action in the film, with Varun blazing a machine gun and slicing goons while riding a horse. A little girl, hinted as the daughter of Varun’s character, gives a feel of the film’s plot. In a voiceover she says, “A single ant can be killed easily but if they come together, they can bring down an elephant.”

The taster cut was already running in cinemas along with shows of Singham Again, it has been released on social media by the makers today.

Baby John is slated to release on Christmas Day, December 25.
