Salman Khan has returned to Hyderabad’s Taj Falaknuma Palace to resume the shooting of his upcoming actioner Sikandar. The superstar was spotted at Mumbai airport, heading to the southern city and surrounded by tight security.
A video doing the rounds on social media, sees the palace grounds and building decorated in fairy lights, making for an opulent and regal setting for the shoot. According to reports, the film's team arrived at the venue a day before the shoot could begin at the palace.
This comes amidst multiple threats against the actor received by the Mumbai police recently. Earlier, Salman’s close friend and NCP leader Baba Siddique was killed in Mumbai’s Bandra by assailants allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gangster has also threatened to kill Salman in the past.
As per reports, Sikandar is about a young street-smart boy who becomes a reluctant hero to protect his town from a villain played by Sathyaraj of Baahubali fame.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal.
Salman was recently seen in a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.
