Kartik Aaryan starrer horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made Rs 38.4 crore net on Day 2 at the box office, as per the makers. Sacnilk.com reports a close number too at Rs 37 crore.
With an opening of Rs 36.6 crore, the two-day collection of the Anees Bazmee directorial now stands at Rs 75 crore.
Announcing the numbers via Instagram on Sunday, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Rooh Baba Aur Manju Behen ki taraf se (From Rooh baba and Manju sister) HAPPY BHAI DOOJ.”
The film released alongside Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe bonanza Singham Again, which, as per Sacnilk.com, has amassed Rs 42.5 crore on Day 2. Taking its total collection to Rs 86 crore.
Apart from Kartik, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Our review of the film read: “It is astounding how unimaginably flat and painfully loud Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 comes out to be. Taking some of the elements of the 2007 film, combined with certain ideas from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it presents an overtly familiar ‘ghost’ story with some random jests and unfocused scenes.”
