Anurag Kashyap took to Instagram on Thursday morning to make a cryptic post with a public message pointed at someone. He didn’t give any context for the same. The filmmaker has been sharing sarcastic and angry posts on his social media lately.

In the post, he said that one doesn’t get rewarded for being nice in the world. “Now, if I have to be the bad guy, so be it,” he said. It is not clear for whom this post is aimed at.

Earlier, he had posted a long note where he blasted at people who seek his help for free. In the long post, he had written, “I wasted a lot of time trying to help newcomers and mostly ended up with mediocre things. So, now onwards, I don’t want to waste my time with meeting random people who think they are creative geniuses (sic).”

He had also mentioned the rates of meeting him and added, “If someone wants to meet me for 10-15 minutes, I will charge 1 lac, for half hour 2 lac and for 1 hour 5 lacs. That’s the rate. I am tired of wasting time meeting people. If you really think you can afford it, call me (sic).”

Anurag’s last theatrical release as a director was Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat, which came out in 2023. His latest directorial, Kennedy had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. Kennedy stars Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone in pivotal roles. As per reports, his upcoming film is a thriller starring Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Joju George and Saba Azad, among others.
