Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLB came out as the company sharing the highest revenue with the State government of Uttar Pradesh for developing the film city. The bid for the project was active from September 30, 2023 to January 5, 2024.

Among the ones who made their presentations for the greenfield project to the government of Uttar Pradesh were Supersonic Technobuild Private Limited (Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films LLP, and others), Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (T-Series), Bayview Projects LLP (backed by Boney Kapoor, real estate company Bhutani Group, and Noida Cyber Park), and 4 Lions Films Private Limited (backed by filmmaker KC Bokadia and others).

The Noida Film City is the project backed by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath and is designed as an international project covering an area of 1,000 acres. It is situated just 6 kms away from the upcoming Noida International Airport.
