Sharib Hashmi unveils poster from his upcoming film Malhar

The Family Man actor Sharib Hashmi unveiled the poster of his upcoming film Malhar on Thursday. Written and directed by Vishal Kumbhar, the film also stars Anjali Patil, Rishi Saxena, Shrinivas Pokale, Vinayak Potdar, Mohammad Samad, and Akshata Acharya in pivotal roles.

The poster features all the actors in a rural setup of the film. According to the makers, it delves into the complexities of relationships that challenge societal norms and expectations.

Speaking about it, Sharib said in a press release, "Being part of such a compelling story brings immense satisfaction as an actor. I am incredibly proud to be involved in this film under Vishal's direction. It's a multifaceted project that gives voice to a range of perspectives, and Vishal's masterful direction has been truly inspiring."

Anjali, known for her work in Newton (2017), said in a statement, "Elated doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. It's a rare privilege as an actor to be part of such a captivating story. It's a multifaceted project that explores a range of themes.”

Malhar is produced by Praful Pasad and will be released in Hindi and Marathi in theatres on May 31.
