
A new poster from Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion was released by the makers on Friday. It features him in an intense avatar as he fires a rifle. Directed by Kabir Khan, the trailer of the film will be out on May 18.
The poster introduces him as someone engaged in a battlefield. According to makers, the war scenes in the film are shot in the Aru Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, at an elevation of 9000 feet above sea level. It was filmed over a period of 5 days by the cast and crew and the film is also said to have an eight-minute single take in the war sequence.
Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “The man who refused to surrender. Chandu Champion Trailer out tomorrow. Chandu Champion releasing in cinemas on 14th June, 2024.”
Chandu Champion is a sports drama and is reportedly based on a real-life story. However, the plot of the film is kept under wraps. Kabir, in an earlier interview, had revealed that Chandu Champion will be about an “unknown hero.”
The film is produced by Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala and will be released in theatres on June 14.
