Akshay Kumar lauds Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth: ‘You should start giving acting classes’

Akshay Kumar recently watched Srikanth and was all praises for it. The actor took to Instagram on Friday to laud the film and also suggested that its lead actor Rajkummar Rao should start “giving acting classes.”

Akshay shared the film’s poster on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must watch! Picture dekh ke mazza aa gaya. (Had a lot of fun watching the film). @rajkummar_rao bhai ab toh acting ki classes shuru kar de. (Bro, I guess you should start giving acting classes now). You are simply brilliant.”

Before this, actor Sanya Malhotra had also expressed her excitement about the film, “There's nothing that Rajkummar Rao can't do! He never fails to inspire me as an actor. Can't wait to watch 'Srikanth' this weekend and witness his spectacular performance.”

Srikanth is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and also features Jyothika, Sharad Kelkar and Alaya F in pivotal roles.

Our review of the film read: “Srikanth is an adulatory and simplistic biopic of Srikanth Bolla, the first international visually-impaired student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and founder of Bollant Industries, a recycled packaging paper company, with prominent investors like former president APJ Abdul Kalam and Ratan Tata. It’s a great premise, one that required a deeper and nuanced study, but the makers decided to go for a derivative telling, laced with scenes which are desperate for claps and hoots.”
