Action director Sunil Rodrigues joins Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great

Action director Sunil Rodrigues has joined Anupam Kher’s directorial Tanvi The Great, he announced on Tuesday. Sunil is known for working as an action director for films like Jawan (2023), Pathaan (2023) and Shershaah (2021).

Anupam took to Instagram to share a video of him with Sunil. In the caption, he wrote, “Delighted and Proud to introduce the #ActionDirector of my directorial film #TanviTheGreat Mr. #SunilRodrigues. Rod, as he is popularly known, is one of the most dynamic, scientific and charismatic action men in our industry. He may look tough and overpowering but he is the gentlest person on the set. He also is a great storyteller! Thank you dearest #Rod for your love, brilliance and craftsmanship! Jai Ho!”

The film marks Anupam’s second project as director after 2002's Om Jai Jagadish. Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani will be composing the songs for the film with lyrics by Kausar Munir. 

Produced under the banner of Anupam Kher Studios, the film went on the floors on March 8. More details from the project are awaited.
