Rajkummmar Rao headliner Srikanth has made over Rs 6 crore in two days since its release. The film, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, also stars Alaya F, Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles.

As per Sacnilk. com, the film opened with Rs 2.25 crore on Friday (May 10). Its collection almost doubled on Saturday with Rs 4 crore. The total collection for two days thus comes out to be Rs 6.25 crore. As per the report, Srikanth had an overall 20.25% Hindi occupancy on Saturday.

The film is a biopic of entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla, who despite being visually-impaired, founded Bollant industries, a recycled paper packaging company. Prominent people like former president APJ Abdul Kalam and industrialist Ratan Tata also invested in his vision.

Our review of the film read: “I didn’t quite get what Srikanth was trying to get at. Its sermons of ‘empathy not sympathy’ felt hollow since the film couldn’t go beyond Srikanth’s disability. It felt rushed, trying to squeeze in the lifetime of a person in two hours, hoping it would present a vivid image of his personality. It took itself too seriously but was trying not to.”
