With Madgaon Express just a day away from its theatrical release, director Kunal Kemmu has opened up on why he chose to direct this film.
Kemmu called directing Madgaon Express not just a professional success but also a personal achievement since his mental health was not at its best.
At the trailer launch event of the film, Kemmu called it a product of rage not of love as he was facing self-worth issues. He added that he tried writing humour when he isn't feeling his best to overcome challenges.
The trailer of the film came out earlier this month and gave a glimpse into its darkly comic world. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment and set to hit theatres on March 22.
