Shoojit Sircar
Director Shoojit Sircar’s next film will be released in theatres in 2024. The shooting for the yet-to-be-titled film was completed recently with major portions shot in the USA. It is produced under his banner, Rising Sun Films.
Speaking about the film recently, he said, "I intend to reach out to audiences all over the world through all my films. My next is also made with the same intent. It will take you into an ordinary man’s life and his extraordinary journey and make you smile with him.”
Shoojit’s last directorial was the Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham which released in 2021 and was a biopic on the life of the revolutionary. The film won 5 National Awards that year including Best Feature Film in Hindi.
