Sara Ali Khan: Murder Mubarak came to me at an important moment in my career

Sara Ali Khan recently opened up in an interview about her upcoming film Murder Mubarak. She said that the film came to her at an important moment in her life and career. The film is directed by Homi Adajania and features an ensemble cast of Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Kapoor and Tisca Chopra.

Reflecting on her experience of working with Homi for the first time, Sara said, "Everything that people are talking about Homi and his energy is true. But I think that the moments were the ones spent off the set with him. Whether it was by the swimming pool or in work meetings, he kind of reminded me that what I have as a human being is enough.”

She added, "Along with Homi, the entire cast has helped me to be who I am, both on and off camera. The film came to me at an important and defining moment in my life and career, so I am grateful.”

Murder Mubarak is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and will premiere on Netflix on March 15. Apart from this, Sara will also be seen in Prime Video's Ae Watan Mere Watan, where she plays the role of freedom fighter Usha Mehta.
